Continuous rewards

Performance fee distribution

You earn a proportional share of platform performance fees based on your veABRA balance.

Cadabra strategies charge a performance fee on realized profits. This fee is collected in the form of ABRA tokens, which are then distributed to veABRA holders (i.e. those who have ABRA locked in). veABRA holders receive a share of the fees proportional to their veABRA amount - the more veABRA you have compared to others, the higher share of fees you receive.

Profit of Protocol Owned Liqiudity distribution

You earn a proportional share of profit generated by Platform Owned Liquidity:

Cadabra protocol owns liquidity generated on compouded profit in the form of strategy token pairs. This protocol owned liquidity generates profit as well. The yields from this liquidity are distributed as ABRA token rewards to veABRA holders. As a veABRA holder, you receive a proportional share of these liquidity rewards based on your portion of total veABRA.

vAPY

vAPY (variable APY) is the APY that all stakers receive. The rewards come from performance fees and from the yield gained by Protocol Owned liquidity.

Personal staking rebates

When you lock (stake) ABRA, you receive an immediate one-time rebate. The amount of the rebate depends on the duration of your lock: the longer you lock the tokens, the higher the rebate. The rebate can be expressed as an Absolute Rebate (one time reward amount) or as uAPY (unlock APY - annual reward rate).

Absolute Rebate

The ratio of locked ABRA to the rebate received.

For example, if you lock 1000 ABRA for 4 years, you will immediately get 500 ABRA back as a rebate. So the absolute rebate is 50%.

uAPY

uAPY (unlock APY) calculated as the annual yield that will arise at the time of unlock, relative to the real spent amount of ABRA tokens (original lock amount minus rebate amount)

For example, if you lock 1000 ABRA for 1 year and immediately get a 200 ABRA rebate, your real spent amount is 800 ABRA (because your wallet decreased by 1000 then got 200 back, your net expenditure was 800). After 1 year when 1000 ABRA unlocks, the uAPY is 25% (1000 locked / 800 spent).

It is important to note that immediate delivery of the rebate opens looping opportunities. Looping provides an opportunity to earn extra ABRA by repeatedly locking personal staking rebates. However looping doesn't change your uAPY!

The longer the lock period, the greater the rewards. Rebates are boosted for the first month after Cadabra's launch. For locks up to 1 year, rebates are boosted by 40% for the first 2 weeks, and 20% for the 3rd and 4th weeks. This means if you lock your ABRA tokens for 1 year within the first 2 weeks, your uAPY will be 32.20%, but if you wait until the 3rd week, your uAPY will be 27.60%.

You can lock tokens for any duration between 30 days and 4 years. Your rebate will be proportionally recalculated between the two closest lock period brackets. For example, locking for 2 months will give you the average of the 1 month (11%) and 3 month (14%) uAPY, which is (11% + 14%) / 2 = 12.5% uAPY.

All users who lock ABRA after joining Cadabra through a referral link receive higher rebates. They get +2% to the uAPY, resulting in higher absolute rebate amounts. See Referral program

The tokens for the rebates come from a pool of 15% of the total ABRA supply reserved for the Rebates + Referral Program. There is no time limit on the pool - bonuses can be paid out for any lock made until the pool is fully exhausted.

Referral rewards

The referral program rewards Cadabra users who refer others to lock ABRA by giving the referrer a percentage of the rebates received by their referrals. This incentivizes growth of the Cadabra community and provides mutual benefits for referrers and referrals who lock their ABRA tokens.
