Team bonus and Binary Tree

The Team Bonus is a unique referral mechanism that allows you to earn rewards from an unlimited number of referral levels. This system divides the referral structure into left and right teams, and the activity of all members within your structure is considered when calculating the Team Bonus.

For all Cadabra users, there is one shared binary tree, creating an spillover effect. This is the important feature of the binary tree and a unique aspect of the Cadabra platform. Below, we’ll explain this in detail using examples.

The binary tree structure divides any referral network into two teams, enabling rewards from the entire structure. The division occurs through a limitation on the number of participants at each level —each new referral is placed either in the left or right team, or added to the next level below.

The final amount of rewards is based on the performance of the “weaker” team—that is, the left or right team that has generated less yield during a specific period.

You can control the construction of your binary tree and decide where your direct referral will be placed: in the left team, in the right team, or randomly. Your choice determines how the binary tree develops.

Example of Binary Tree Construction

You select the option to “Distribution: Left” As a result, your first two direct referrals will be placed in the tree on the left, one under the other, occupying the farthest-left positions.

Referrals Building Their Teams

  • Referral #1 invites Referral #3 using the “Distribution: Left” option.

  • Referral #2 invites Referral #4 using the “Distribution: Right” option.

Then:

  • Referral #3 will occupy the farthest-left position in Referral #1’s tree, beneath Referral #2. Spillover is working for user #2.

  • Referral #4 will occupy the farthest-right position in Referral #2’s tree.

Referral #1 changes the setting to “Distribution: Right” and invites Referral #5. Then Referral #5 is placed in the farthest-right position in Referral #1’s tree.

You notice an imbalance in the tree and switch to the “Distribution: Right” option before inviting Referral #6. Referral #6 is placed in the farthest-right position in your tree.

Referral #6 then chooses the “Distribution: Left” option. His invited Referral #7 is placed in the farthest-left position under Referral #6.

Your sponsor’s binary structure can also influence your tree. If your sponsor continues building their structure after you join, sponsor’s referrals may spillover into your tree. Spillover is working and allows you to earn from these referrals as well.

You invite Referral #8 using the “Add to the Right Team” option. Referral #8 is placed in the farthest-right position under the referrals from your sponsor. Spillover is working.

Referrals from any level and beyond are also included in your binary tree, and their activities contribute to your referral rewards.

Assumptions: For simplicity, assume the effective rewards of each referral are 300 ABRA. The effective amount is the total rewards after applying all coefficients and multipliers, and it determine your referral rewards.

Your referral rank is Mage, granting you:

  • 5% as the Team Bonus.

  • 8% from the first level. First level here means the direct referrals (people invited to Cadabra by your link)

  • 3% from the second level. Second level here means the people who were invited to Cadabra by your direct referrals.

Team Bonus Calculation:

  • Left Team: 2700 ABRA.

  • Right Team: 3000 ABRA.

  • Weaker Team: Left (2700 ABRA in sum).

  • Team Bonus = 2700 ABRA × 3% = 135 ABRA.

Other Referral Rewards:

  • First Level: 900 ABRA × 8% = 72 ABRA.

  • Second Level: 900 ABRA × 3% = 27 ABRA.
